The World Athletics Continental Tour returns to Morton Stadium for a night of top-class track and field featuring the iconic Morton mile. Anyone who was at the 2024 meet will testify as to the extraordinary race that was witnessed as Olympic 1500 semifinalist Cathal Doyle of the host club Clonliffe Harriers became the 1st Clonliffe winner of the most famous race in Irish athletics in a quarter of a century beating a world-class international field.

The Morton mile will again be the finale of 2 hours of non-stop sporting drama that will feature many of Ireland’s top athletes competing against their international counterparts from all parts of the globe: USA, Australia, New Zealand, the African continent and from all over Europe.

Feature events on the night will include the women’s 100 hurdles, the Albie Thomas 5000 and returning to the programme after several years absence the women’s 400 which will include Ireland’s top 400 women in the field.
