Now that we’ve had time to draw breath after a truly brilliant night on July 12 we would like to sincerely thank all who made it possible.

All the meet officials from Athletics Ireland and the army of volunteers from Clonliffe Harriers who filled every conceivable role from the airport meet and greet team, the hotel meet and greet team, those who assisted with catering for athletes, the call room team, the mixed zone team, the blocks team, the guest and presentation team, the huge team who looked after the juvenile relays (we are still mesmerised as to how!) the hurdles team, the admission team, to those who acted as event stewards, and everyone connected who gave so willingly of their time, all with great professionalism and good humour thrown in.

We will also like to thank all those fans of the brilliant the sport of athletics who attended Morton Games and created the unique Morton Games atmosphere.

Finally of course all the athletes who competed at this year’s meet from the U/10 boys and girls in the mixed relay right up to the Morton mile itself, and every event in between. Thank you sincerely for coming and joining us in the festival of athletics that Morton Games is. We very much look forward to seeing you all again on July 11, 2025 (subject to final confirmation of that date).
