Adelle Tracey confirmed for 800
The latest big name to confirm for Morton Games is top British 800 athlete Adelle Tracey. Adelle was the 2016 British indoor 800 champion and competed at the World Indoor Championships in Oregon, having qualified for the European Championships she competed for Great Britain in Amsterdam, although she had the Rio Olympic qualifying standard health issues earlier in the season conspired against her and she could not compete in the Olympic Games. She has, however, been in superb form already this season clocking a season’s best of 2.00.35 in Los Angeles on the 18th of May, not that far removed from her best of 2.00.04. No doubt she will have sub 2 in mind at Morton Games.
